Mission:
Remote Ophthalmic, Surgical, and Emergency (ROSE) Initiatives is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the development and delivery of sustainable eye care and emergency medical care in underserved remote communities around the world. Our commitment is rooted in the belief that everyone, regardless of their geographical location, deserves access to quality health care.
How do we work?
Identify stakeholders
Our first step when approaching a new partner relationship is to identify pain points and the key stakeholders
Create an outcome-based plan
From advanced life support to nursing education, side-by-side surgical coaching or emergency airway management
Deployment
Our experience in wilderness & emergency medicine and cornea & refractive surgery allows us to create measurable improvement in places that need it the most

Training, Education,
and Resources
Thanks to donor support, we are able to not only provide training, but also combine teaching with the delivery of resources necessary for success - from simulation manikins to surgical tools.
