In addition to his work in the emergency department and the wards, Dr. Albala focused on system and infrastructure strengthening by delivering extensive analysis of hospital services, from pharmacy to stock-room and radiology. His recommendations were used by hospital leadership in departmental and system-wide budget and planning.
